I don't really understand why places like New England, Buffalo, and Cincinnati get the Eagles game instead of Steelers.

Or why Pats fans are continually burdened with Eagle/Fouts instead of Harlan/Gannon or Gumbel/Green/Arians.

For some reason it seems like there are about three of these Jaguars-Titans matchups on TNF every year.
I wish they would create a Wednesday Afternoon time slot just for this matchup. Usually boring as hell. Previously one was 9-6. Yay.

I'll never understand how a professional player muffs / fumbles a punt. Seems like the single dumbest play in sports. Why even catch it? What's the upside?

I don’t think I have ever seen a safety on a punt return before.

Edit - damnit, Pats-Chargers last year

I love seeing those Jags DBs get thrown around like that. Amazing run.

Man, when the Jaguars mail it in, they REALLY mail it in
Amazing that this was written BEFORE the goal line stuff and full-D quit job. There wasn't an angle that showed the whole field but to be able to run 99 yards, slowing down multiple times fend someone off, and still only have to encounter two defenders the entire way is atrocious. The other half of the secondary didn't even bother, it appears.

This is just a couple of baaaaaad offensive teams. Either that or they each have really good defenses. But I don't think so.

Just to be clear. Bortles is healthy, and is making a shitload of money, and the Jags think Kessler gives them a better chance to win? That's just not good times...

I've seen better tackling at a pee-wee game.
I'm not sure who the analyst is on the Westwood One radio broadcast, but he's ripping the effort of the Jax defense: "Henry ran a 4.7 at the combine, and he's running away from the Jacksonville defenders tonight"

Sure looked like he dragged that left toe to me. Aikman and Buck seem to think otherwise.

Hey Coughlin,

One whistle away from SB, amirite?
As good as “Tom” was when this franchise was born — brilliant, as was Dom Capers in Carolina — he is that bad now.

The defense is composed of loudmouth dogs who quit when the going gets tough. You have an epic fail at QB.

All the platitudes associated with Coughlin are going up in smoke. Francesa must be having a nervous breakdown.
