is the non rogan announcer trying to make it seem like mcgregor didn't just get his ass kicked badly or were those punches really not as bad as they looked?
They hurt but they didn’t make his brain go tilt. You could see he was lucid.

Connor’s gonna start pushing the leg kick measure, followed by the uppercut. It’s his desperation move.

He’s in Khabib’s Head but don’t think it matters much. Still would’ve liked to see a decisive victory for Khabib. But I don’t think he has the energy left.

This is the price of letting Connor get away with the bus thing. The Russians were not going to win gracefully.

He didn’t win a single round, or probably a single minute. Doesn’t deserve a second fight.

Glad I’m not in Vegas tonight. Don’t wanna be in between Irish and Russians.

Perfect end for me. No Irish flag and no Dhagastan hat in the ring. +$3k right there.

Lost the no altercation wager tho. LOL -$250

This is what happens when you stoke religious and ethnic tension as part of the promotion for an MMA fight. Unfortunately, this is not likely to end here #UFC229

Better punches than guns but holy hell. What happened at the end wasn't good for the sport, for the fans, for the Champ, none.

Ironically, Connor comes out "winner" although that's as complete of a loss as one can imagine.

Not sure about that. He cheated throughout the fight. He got totally whipped and anyone with any sense will remember he attacked the bus and talked way too much about Khabib’s religion and family.

I don't think CM takes the rematch even if it's offered.

Regarding the bullshit, some of the blame has to stick to White, no? You can get fans riled up but at some point the shark jumps into a burning fire.

Drake is like the all time mush. If Drake ever supports me in anything, I’m doing a 180 on whatever that thing is

Yeah, I thought about that too. But he did one thing that Khabib and his team didn't do. He stopped fighting when it was over.

He can be blamed for bringing that onto himself, sure. I do think his "winner" moniker is certainly relative given what happened. He not only got beat, he got absolutely dominated.

Cheating is up for the ref to call. And they never deduct a point unless there have been like 3 warnings. It’s madding but that’s the way.

I guess to the extent that people aren’t talking about the absolute whooping Conor took, it was good for him, because that was a start to finish whipping.

Conor’s beating got overshadowed by the post fight antics but I won’t forget it. He actually did a little better than I thought he would (given he didn’t blast Khabib in rd 1 which I had as a possibility).

Real shit. I don't condone what happened but you can't bring that real shit into the fight promo and act surprised that real shit follows you outside the fight.

Do you think that back take in the 4th round was all a dummy to get to mount or did he just scramble to mount? Because I thought it was just a set up to get to mount and it was incredible, but I defer to you on that one.

See I thought he’d have more striking highlights at least, but Khabib landed the one hard shot. He had more fortitude on the ground than I figured, but Khabib was in control basically ever second. I expected a bit more danger in the early rounds from Conor.

It’s not like someone got stabbed. Let’s not over react here. Dillon Danis is a pain in the ass and has beef with someone I used to train a lot with. I’m not shocked Khabib wanted to give him a slap. UFC security fucked this up by not protecting Conor.

White has to take a lot of blame here.

Khabib does not have a history for doing anything close to this.

Umm, Joe Rogan questions if UFC will strip Khabib. That would be adding salt to wound. A massive fine, perhaps. Even a suspension but you can't take the belts away from the Champ.

Yeah I'm more talking about the dude sneaking Conor. I'm not even sure Khabib did anything but go after Danis. I didn't see him actually put hands on him but it was pretty chaotic.

If he gets suspended for a year by the NSAC, you have to strip him though.

I figure either or, doing it to get mount but if he lets you stay on the back, you do.

Saw an Instagram clip. Conor was punching someone when Khabib’s boy popped him. Not sure if it was security or someone in Khabib’s camp.

Lewis on postfights - probably just gonna go home, throw my wife’s legs up in the air and see what happens.

Connor's guys who attacked Khabib are fucked, I dont think the state of Nevada plays on shit like that nonsense. I dont think Khabib has much risk in terms of legal issues, and the organization that didnt punish Connor or John Jones for legal shit shouldn't have much room to come after Khabib, but he is not a draw like either of those guys.... so I wouldn't be surprised to see Dana baby his best draw and do some ridiculous shit.

Considering his issues with both the Dagistanis and the Detroit fighters like Kevin Lee, and the fact that he clearly hasn't helped Connor's ground game that much, perhaps Dana should get rid of Dylan Dannis.

But, aside from that, what a great card.

It will all become more clear. The post fight hysteria from Rogan rubbed me the wrong way. This wasn’t Malice in the Palace. They should have tried way harder to calm it down. Cormier was the most rational person in the building.

Looks like two dudes hopped the fence. One guy in a black shirt first. Hee gets Connors attention and they exchange. A guy in red hops in after and sucker punches him from behind
