I don't mind the lead ins, (e.g. how the mighty have fallen bowl) but the team names should just be listed. I do appreciate Ale doing it, but he's being too clever.
Agreed. It defeats the purpose when I have to google the latest rankings to figure out one of the teams, otherwise it is greatly appreciated.

I agree they’re not all obvious and would appreciate the actual names, as I said earlier.

Holy shit. Just tuned in, and the medical folks have just taken away Trevor Lawrence's helmet, and he's being taken back into the Clemson locker room. Syracuse just kicked a field goal to take a 16-7 lead at Clemson with 24 seconds left in the 1st half.

Mind you, this comes 5 days after Dabo announced that Lawrence would be the starter, and I believe because they hadn't reached the fourth game, they agreed to redshirt Kelly Bryant, so he would save a season of eligibility and will transfer at the end of the season. The talk all week was "What happens if Lawrence gets hurt?" and here it is. Clemson's season literally hangs in the balance.

Yup, he's been officially ruled out for the 2nd half. Clemson's first drive was a bunch of a good runs, and then they got stuffed on 1st down around the Cuse 35, short pass for a 3 yard loss, and then a sack and punt. Freshman QB, Chase Brice, looks a bit like a deer in headlights. If the Orangemen can put another score on the board, I don't think Clemson can come back from it. Wow. Kelly Bryant isn't even there, and the announcers are trying to find out if he's still enrolled in school or not. What a crazy situation.

Syracuse can't do anything after the pick, and then Clemson comes down and kicks a field goal. It's 16-10, and Clemson's defense is starting to fly around the field. This has 17-16 Clemson win written all over it, if it's even that close.

Clemson gets just 3 after the pick, then holds Cuse, but now, the Clemson punt returner muffs the punt, and the Cuse have it at the 10 yard line to start the 4th. Man, Cuse needs a touchdown something bad.

I support a playoff, but these two consecutive Clemson-Syracuse games feel almost irrelevant with regard to the postseason. Their margin of error is zero though if they can't pull this one out.

This is the edge that places like BC and Wake have over Clemson.

Classes are still worth something.

Yeah, less than 2 minutes, and Clemson scores right back. If Dabo pulls this one out with his 3rd string QB, who basically hasn't taken any snaps in practice, that will be impressive.

Fuck, what a fucking play call, but it's coming back because of penalty. Damn, what a fucking kick in the gut.

Syracuse needs to just let Dungy read the defense and run it himself. He's a fantastic runner, with amazing vision, and will get them 5-6 yards a pop. Terrible, terrible play calling after the last defensive stand.

SU had this game won. I honestly think they should be a top 25 team anyway even with the loss. This is the most talented SU team I've seen in years. They're gonna be a handful for any opponent if they can hang with Clemson in Death Valley.

Texas is beating KState 19-7 in the 3rd and still look like absolute shit. They also have a million yards in penalties.

Abd just had a punt blocked weeeeeeee. OU is gonna murder this team.

I agree. And the punter is awesome. Great hang time. He was a weapon today.

Michigan in trouble at Northwestern. Seems like half their pass plays involve the QB throwing on the run, low-percentage, to the sideline.

Harbaugh runs the offense (poorly)

(I went to Michigan - want to believe but don’t)

Sam Ehlinger is a terrible QB and KState has the ball down 19-14 midway in the 4th. They’re owning Texas this half at every position so I fully expect a 15 play, 6 minute drive that results in a game-winning TD.

He was, but he also had two chances to pin Clemson deep late in the game and both times he landed it in the end zone. So he made two major mistakes that cost them. But yeah overall, the kid can kick.
