Is there any rational reason why this match isn't on a weekend? Also, Gooner tears are delic! More than any other big EPL club, they missed the wave on getting American fans over the past 5 years.

I mean I think Arsenal are probably the leaders in the clubhouse in terms of American fandom...

edit: I stand corrected - per FB audience insights, Spurs and Arsenal are between 900k-1m US fans, Manchester United and Liverpool are 1-1.5m apiece, and Chelsea is 1.5m-2m. City are 700k-800k

Chelsea have basically made it known that they aren’t going to put up much of a fight to keep Sarri from going anywhere.

Only at Chelsea could a manager come in third, make a cup final, win a European trophy and potentially leave. Fans for the most part are pretty ambivalent and are looking forward to the inevitable Frank Lampard/John Terry dugout.

So how much extra tenure does Lampard's Chelsea Legend status buy him versus the typical Chelsea manager? A couple of weeks? A month or two?

I would say he would get a bit more rope than most, but it's Chelsea so who knows really.

For all the constant upheaval and revolving doors- that's now 16 trophies in 16 years of Abramovich ownership. Baffling and it makes no sense to me, but hard to argue with the returns.
