These refs must’ve really had a good time last night hanging out in Nashville and want to give back to the community.

No idea what the live #s are but the Krejci line must be getting hemmed in pretty badly. Krejci has looked awful

Looked like Bergeron had a pretty serious hook on him. edit: nope it was minimal

Krug's gotta be playing very hurt

Halak will push Rask for the #1, that's a good thing.

This team needs to solidify the middle 6. Wagner/Acciary/Nordstrom is good 4th line. The problem is the 2nd and 3rd are currently bereft of talent (slight exaggeration).

Agreed, AMcGhie, though I thought the team held up pretty well yesterday (though a lot of it is thanks to Halak). If you put a gun to my head, I would probably go with the Preds as my pick for the Cup winner, they are a really, really good team, again. Truthfully, I told my wife before the game that I expected the Bruins to get blown out, but I thought they did a pretty good job overall of generating chances and counter punching (although the power play was largely really bad).

Still think the Bruins are probably the third best team in the division, but that is with some holes that need to be, and likely could be, filled as the year goes on, either from within or with some trades, though I don't have the brain power to even really analyze what those trades might look like right now.

I think this team needs a combination of any 3 of the following to have a legit cup shot:

McAvoy back to full health.
Krug back to full health.
Backes back to full health.
Trade for a 3C.
One of DeBrusk/Heinen/Donato/Bjork/Blidh goes on a run and solidifies as a 2W.
Rask and Halak are both legit #1's
Trade for a Recchi-like veteran. The "my value is how I inspire others, but I'll also throw in .5ppg or so" guys. (I think that this is most likely to happen at the deadline and be the last piece after others have happened).
