Omg the Nets are picking for the Lakers and they show Nets fans cheering the selection in the stands. Like did they really stay for this?
It will be a relief not to have to root against the Nets after next season.

Because, after all, they're fans who've taken a long-standing hit.

It's not quite the Bias-Lewis depths, but it's pretty bad.

Frank Jackson told immediately he was traded to New Orleans......still wearing Hornets hat during interview. It's the little things that keep me engaged in the 2nd round

I'd like one of:
ANigbogu
Hartenstein
Evans
Peters
Bolden
Olejeye

at 37. Like all of them more than Bell or Rabb

Jay Bilas, paraphrasing: "I don't think Josh Jackson will ever shoot as well as Tatum already does."

The New Orleans Hornets are a fine team, with great Mardi Gras potential.

Kings get Frank Mason. Great college player, hope he sticks in the league.

And Danny Ainge is no longer the lowest drafted Wooden Award winner.

Like seeing the run of four year players in the second round. Teams trying to find the Malcom Brogdan types; good college players that can do some things at the pro level.

Ivan the Terrible will be heading to Memphis.

Memphis won't be surprised by the Terrible.

Why is ESPN listing the 16/17 Sixers lineup with Ben Simmons in it?

Sounds like an honest professional workman. His draft position might be second-round, but his garden drainage will be first-rate.

Warriors with a slick move to move up for Jordan Bell right here a kid who can help their second unit. Wow, that's a great move!

The Celtics did not just get Semi at pick #37?!?! Wow. Slashes, hits the three, can defend. Those guys aren't there at 37.

Seems to be disagreement on his defensive potential. From the Ringer draft guide, they seem to like his size and skill but question his intensity:

PLUSES

  • Good defender against bigs. He has a strong, sturdy frame, and plays with superb fundamentals defending without fouling.
  • Versatile enough to defend guards and wings. Fights through screens, closes out well.
  • Smooth, simple one-motion spot-up shooting form with NBA range should translate. Needs to quicken his release, but it’s fixable.
  • Athletic at-rim finisher. Hangs in the air and handles contact well in traffic. Can throw down dunks when he has space attacking closeouts.
MINUSES
  • Spent two years at Duke before transferring to SMU. Hasn’t excelled versus elite competition, and is already 22 years old.
  • Defensive intensity wanes. Doesn’t pick up many blocks, steals, or charges. Tends to be a beat late on his rotations.
  • Lacks creativity as a ball handler and is stiff changing directions. May never be more than a straight-line bully driver.
