And apparently Jeff Knox will be a marker again - this time with Jason Day. Nice gig.
The only time I saw the Masters in person was on Saturday of 2001. We got there early and watched some of the players warm up on the range, and there was this one guy we just couldn't recognize. But he was hitting all of the shots and it seemed like he had the ball on a string,

Finally, I got up the nerve to ask someone and they told me "Oh, he's just a marker going out first with (name of pro who was last in the field.)"

It wasn't Knox - he didn't start getting the call until 2003. But the members who have been designated to play as markers are basically as good as the pros, at least on this course.

Early on in the day 3 players are under par, versus 5 at even, and 11 over par. What struck me as most odd the 3 people were all past the second hole (2, 5, 8), and all 3 had birdied the usually brutal first. None birdied the usually easier 2nd (as best as I can tell of the 16 who had played 2 there has only been one birdie)

Grillo with the nice 4 putt from 15 feet on #3

It doesn't suck. All the snapback Titleist hats are awesome.

Nah you're not the asshole. And it's not the green ones, it's all the ones he wears of every color. Titleist doesn't sell that style anywhere and there's only one way to get them through his charity, which is pretty cool. Since they look awesome I've been fiending for one for a while and will likely cave at some point and donate to get one.
Is it different from these?

Edit: nm, guess you're looking specifically for the SnapBack and those are flex fit.

I love how you wait 6 hours for TV coverage and then they do a retrospective of past winners. That's the best way to watch live golf, watching past highlights.

And we get the god damn Arnold Palmer speech while Spieth has an eagle putt.

Ho Lee Fuk this ceremonial tee shot is so useless.

Hoffman has a 2 stroke lead. Give him credit, he's really hung around and played quite well. But it's not Sunday. Collapse seems likely.
