In a similar "bleh" weekend last year, Clemson lost to Pitt and Michigan lost to Iowa. Don't really see a chance for fireworks like that, but I guess you never know.

Miami and Wisconsin both losing could certainly qualify as fireworks, IMO. Michigan leading Wiscy 10-7, and Miami now tied with UVA at 28-28. Both teams should be losing, and/or losing by more.

That call on Breckyn Hager was absolute horse shit. The left tackle is pulling down on his facemask the entire time, causing him to duck his head. For fighting through the penalty (which wasn't called) he gets thrown out for targeting.

Agreed. The refs made some crucial calls against Virginia and nothing against Miami. The push of the WR was egregious, I don't know how that could go uncalled.

Just heard the CBS studio lead say “Clemson storms the field after beating Citadel...” A national broadcaster should know its got nothing to do with winning. Fans go on the field after every game.

Wisconsin closes out a 2 TD win over Michigan that felt a lot closer than the final score. Wisconsin looked outclassed early but flipped the narrative in the second half, in retrospect, game was effectively over when Peters went down.

Wisconsin offense clearly going to struggle against good teams if Hornibrook is kept on a short leash. Took some key throws from him to get the W today, and of course in the process he threw another potentially crippling pick but was bailed out by the defense...the very, very good defense...again.

Potential landmine next week as this will be the biggest game Minnesota has played in years. Definitely landmine the week after that.

Wisconsin's defense is legit. I don't think the Peters injury ended up mattering that much, Wisconsin was up 21-10 by the time O'Korn got in the game. Michigan's four previous drives with Peters had a combined two first downs and 26 yards. They were unlikely to stage a comeback either way.

Kansas State QB now out of the game, score is 45-40. KState ball. OKSU has no timeouts left, just under four minutes to go. If KSU doesn't get a first down, and has to punt back to OKSU, OKSU will win. Rudolph just scored a touchdown on a drive that took like 4 plays and 25 seconds, with ease.

Wow, they are covering James Washington, one of the best receivers in the NCAA one on one, and giving him a massive cushion, and he drops the 1st one, and whiffs on the second one. And now another whiff on third down by the running back out of the backfield. The drop on 1st down was brutal.
