Wow, watching the TAMU v UCLA game and the stands seems half (or maybe a bit more) full. WTF?
3 quarter school system. Game's too early in the season. Too hot too. Capacity too high. Stadium not close to campus.

Edit: what Domer said.

Ok, I'll say it. Rosen really was bad most of this game. Two of the late TDs were luck after he just threw the ball up into coverage. He knows how to manage the clock/game, however, so that puts him in the top 1 percent of cfb QBs.

A&M play calling was Falcon-esque in the 4q. Lololol

A&M will not win many games in that conference if they go 9/30 passing the ball for 89 yards. They ran the ball well, but UCLA's defense isn't exactly Alabama or LSU or even Auburn. A&M will not go to a bowl game this year.
Nichols St and LALAFAY next 2 weeks
New Mexico and Miss St are 2 more wins
If they win 2 of 3 vs. Arky, Cocks, and Ole Miss, they're in.

Obv can't see them beating Bama, and LSU and Florida games are on the road. Possibly upset Auburn in theory, but doubtful.

It's a broken foot, he isn't hobbled for life and gets to lead them next year.
No, he doesnt get anything. He just lost a year of development at a position where there is always intense competition.

But, hey, at least you feel better about UT's futility.

Aight I see where you guys are coming from. My bad. It's been a trying week, emotions got to me.

And UT is way beyond futility at this point. They're essentially Kentucky these days.

Georgia Tech is making Butch Jones and Bob Shoop look silly. 21-7 halfway through the 3rd and absolutely annihilating UT in the trenches. The TOP has to be about 3:1 at this point.

Edit: And Tennessee fights back to tie it up 28-28 with 1:30 left. Two fumbles and a missed FG fucked GT over.

Double edit: Tech gets down the field quickly but the kicker missed yet another FG (a 36-yarder) as time expired. To overtime we go. Well it was blocked but whatever.

Triple edit: GT chooses to go for two in the 2nd OT to win it. No good. Tennessee absolutely steals a win, 42-41.

Went to the Tech-Tenn game instead of staying home to watch the Red Sox. Two things:
1. The new stadium in Atlanta is awesome. Overall it's brighter and more spacious than the old place. The giant screens on the roof give you a great view of the game everywhere. The food options are solid and not pricey (had a $2 pretzel). Only complaint is that the roof was closed.

2. Tech absolutely dominated the contest. 655 total yards. I think they held the ball for about 33 minutes. The PK was bad and they had a horrendous turnover in the red zone. If the Vols are a top 25 then it's a bad year for college football.
