The 718
The third round draw is out, which makes it a good time to start a thread.

Here's the draw:

Ipswich Town v Sheffield United
Watford v Bristol City
Birmingham City v Burton Albion
Liverpool v Everton
Brighton & Hove Albion v Crystal Palace
Aston Villa v Woking or Peterborough United
AFC Bournemouth v AFC Fylde or Wigan Athletic
Coventry City v Stoke City
Newport County v Leeds United
Bolton Wanderers v Huddersfield Town
Port Vale or Yeovil Town v Bradford City
Nottingham Forest v Arsenal
Brentford v Notts County
Queens Park Rangers v MK Dons
Manchester United v Derby County
Forest Green Rovers or Exeter City v West Bromwich Albion
Doncaster Rovers v Rochdale
Tottenham Hotspur v AFC Wimbledon
Middlesbrough v Sunderland
Fleetwood Town or Hereford FC v Leicester City
Blackburn Rovers or Crewe Alexandra v Hull City
Cardiff City v Mansfield Town
Manchester City v Burnley
Shrewsbury Town v West Ham United
Wolverhampton Wanderers v Swansea City
Stevenage v Reading
Newcastle United v Luton Town
Millwall v Barnsley
Fulham v Southampton
Wycombe Wanderers v Preston North End
Norwich City v Chelsea
Gillingham or Carlisle United v Sheffield Wednesday

The bolded are of interest-

-The Merseyside derby- as an Everton fan, it's on like Donkey Kong. Of course, Everton typically lose at Anfield, and typically get their balls busted by Reds fans for the rest of the year, but the more cracks that we have at that particular football, the more chances that we can kick it before Lucy pulls it back again.

-Northeast derby of teams that were both in the PL last year

-Wolves v Swansea- teams that will likely pass each other and wave hello on the way up and down

Third round games January 5-8.

It's too bad that there are EPL ties this early. Part of the fun (maybe all of it) is to let the lower tiers get their shot at the big dogs.

I think you're missing a couple of good story lines OCST.

AFC Wimbledon return to Wembley.
Brighton/Palace Derby
3rd tier leading Shrewsbury hosting a PL side
A couple of historically big sides Derby/Forest playing United/Arsenal

I couldn't be more disappointed with the Wednesday draw. The way we're playing it'll be a dire 0-0 draw and then we'll lose a replay where 4000 people show up. Actually, shit draw for all Sheffield area clubs- Pigs @ Ipswich, Donny hosting Rochdale, and Barnsley to Millwall.

Amazing. Griggs has really been out of form this season too. Give a dude a couple of timely goals and a catchy tune and he’s a legend though.

I love Claudio Bravo but he got his feet entirely wrong on that goal. Bravo 2014 stops that shot, because he isn't hopping in the air when it's struck.

Bravo has become so awful it’s a wonder Liverpool haven’t tried to sign him.
I laughed.

Wednesday with a replay at Swansea a week from today. If we can sneak this through, and it's possible, we get a game at Hillsborough and hopefully have some players back from injury.

Spurs have put the ball in the back of the net three times, but the score is 1-1. And there's probably 5 minutes of added time coming at end of first half. Brutal.
