True, but that was also on a miracle 60 foot putt. This was on a conceded two putt, against the GOAT Lee Westwood. That didn't keep them quiet in Brookline.
My prediction on Thursday. Nailed it!That is awesome, gotta be one of the highlights of that guy's life.
Anyway, back to the action. I just listened to the ShackHouse Ryder Cup preview and I've never been more confident about the US' chances. Shack and House both couldn't envision any way the US could win and they were both chomping at the bit to bet Europe.
I'm convinced, the US is going to win. Their team is stacked like it's never been stacked before. They are home. And they are being written off by the geniuses. Raise the Cup fellas.
LOL. He was talking so fast I couldn't even understand what he was saying.DUSTIN JOHNSON IS PUMPED YO
Oh trust me, we all knew. We wanted that to drop so bad. Still, an amazing weekend. Moore's eagle and Reed's bunker shot were both unbelievable.Wonder if T4P knows a halve here for DJ wins it
Thanks awesome. Rory really deserved better treatment from the fans this week.
The fans were fine. Rory gave it as good as he got it, he wasn't exactly an example of quiet grace all weekend either. Thanks awesome. Rory really deserved better treatment from the fans this week.
I totally get that (I called him a douche in this thread). I know you were there but the drunks who crossed the line did reflect a bit poorly. The fans were fine. Rory gave it as good as he got it, he wasn't exactly an example of quiet grace all weekend either.
"Rory, you're gonna choke," is certainly ok. "Suck a dick Rory," is far over the line.I totally get that (I called him a douche in this thread). I know you were there but the drunks who crossed the line did reflect a bit poorly.
This week I've completely turned the corner on Bubba and Reed.As someone who just lost his dad less than 2 weeks ago, Bubba's comments really resonated as genuine and impressive.
I rip on the guy but man.
For me, maybe Bubba, but definitely not Reed. He's grown up a ton in the past two years. You guys will all be hating on Bubba and Reed again by the first WGC event.
Rory and Reed had legit fun and gave it to each other today. That was pretty amazing to watch. For me, maybe Bubba, but definitely not Reed. He's grown up a ton in the past two years.
That's funny. I've referred in other posts to the Golf Digest article which had confidential comments about each of the players and the comment about Rose was that he can be a whiner when things don't go his way.Rose is killing the pin placements calling it a pro-am setup.
The media is making a big deal out of it. The first 3 or 4 questions to the Europe press conference were crowd related. Euro's handled it fine, and didn't really make it an excuse.I really don't think the fans were that bad outside of the chuckleheads that got tossed on Friday (?). A good example was once on 16 someone was ready to hit (Sullivan I think) and Pieters had sank a big a big putt that people were listening to on the BBC channel on he Ryder Cup radio. So a couple Euro fans yelped (likely not realizing Sullivan was hitting) and the announcers immediately blamed the US crowd for it. The noises/celebrations during pre-shot routines were inevitable with the video board and the Ryder cup radios with putts being hit left and right.
