Kevin Faulk is going to be the most popular guy in New England tomorrow on Twitter/Facebook. That was awesome -- he really, really wanted to say "Fuck you" to Vincent, you could see it.

"The New England Patriots AND Tom Brady select. . . . ".

Thuney, yesterday my life was filled with pain.
Thuney, you smiled at me and really eased the pain.
The dark days are gone, and the bright days are here,
My Thuney one shines so sincere.
Thuney one so true, I love you.

While wearing a TB12 jersey under his suit coat that he opened to make sure the cameras caught in all its glory (for those not watching the telecast).

I don't care when it happens, or who it is, but I really, really want to see the Patriots at least take a shot or two at finding a true weapon on the outside for TB to throw to, as we head towards the end of his career. It's my only serious gripe with BB and staff all these years. It's like they didn't even notice what happened in 2007 when they finally gave him that guy in Randy Moss. Ultimately, they'll probably have to find that guy through free agency or a trade, but man, with all these picks, just take a flier on one or two of the guys that fit the mold and see if you catch lightning in a bottle.

Not to say I'm happy with the first couple picks and the trade, because I'm not at all. I'm talking about going forward in the draft.

It is fantastic that the NFL Network has not mentioned one thing about what Faulk did. Not a mention.

Did anybody see Vincent's face when Failk gave his metaphorical fuck you? Priceless. Looked like he stepped in something malodorous. Love Kevin Faulk. Hope his cousin choked when he hard that.

Yeah, didn't see it on ESPN either. The NFL Network has nothing but at least they are actually covering the picks.

People always bring up Randy Moss, and I get it, but let's not forget that Randy Moss is the most talented Wide Receiver of all time. Finding guys like that doesn't just happen, and they have TRIED during the draft.

That picture of Faulk is so great. I hope he smoked a big bowl right before he did it too. And fuck that smug Vincent.

Can't believe I missed that. ESPN2 with no live coverage of the picks. Just trying to keep up with commercials and analysis, with the occasional ball-washing mixed in.

This just in: I heard Goodell just suspended Faulk, fined Brady and took away the Pats 2017 4th round pick.

This punchable Carrot Top look alike is a Broncos fan, young banker, excited about the Lynch pick, and thinks Goodell is a "great all-around nice guy" and does not deserve all the boos he's been getting. (NFL's Dameshek on the right).

This handsome, courageous young man is a fan of the SB Champ Broncos and fighting terminal illness. All the best to him and I'm an asswipe.

BB has developed one hell of an organizational culture from 2000 onwards. Even the retired Patriots players have so much pride and resilience.

I'm not looking for Randy Moss. Shit, I'll settle for about 60% of Randy Moss.

And I don't buy this "they have tried" line anymore. It's been a while since they seriously tried, unless you think taking Aaron Dobson three years ago with the 59th pick. Aside from Dobson and Boyce in the 4th round the same year, they took Taylor Price, a slot guy at best, in the 3rd round in 2010, and Brandon Tate in the 3rd in 2009. They also took Ebert in the 7th in 2011 or something and Gallon in the 7th in 2014, and Slater in the 5th in 2008. Oh and that guy Edelman in the 7th in 2009.

That's it. Since 2007, they have taken a total of 8 WR's among their 85 or so picks, and not one of them was earlier than round 3, and 3 were with their last pick. They got gun shy early on with the Bethel Johnson's and Chad Jacksons and haven't really gone back to the WR well since. But, they also haven't gone their in free agency, except to take a shot on guys like Lafell. There are plenty of studs that play WR all over this league, and I'm sure more than a few of them would love to see what they could do with TB throwing them the ball. This is a blindspot for this management, maybe the only one, but it drives me crazy.

Well, there goes Braxton Miller to the Texans.
