The quarterback will become as oft used as the fullback and the Jets will lead the charge in this new wave of offense. Is the QB decision whether or not they should play with one?
And the freaking walkthrough. How hard is that to attend? He missed a practice and a defensive team meeting? A 1 quarter suspension sounds a little light.
In fairness they walk through the game too.And the freaking walkthrough. How hard is that to attend?

LGBT has to be the new standard here, yeah?P.S. BB rarely takes a player back (recent notable exception being Chung). I don't see Revis coming back to NE but if he does, I bet he'll find a role that suits his current set of skills.
He was always a physical corner in the sense that he liked to clutch and grab receivers, but I don't think he's evern been a real big fan of mixing it up and tackling.Maybe out of place in this Jets thread, but for people who know things, does Revis profile as the type of player who could make the move to safety (like Charles Woodson, among others) as he continues to get older? (Not that the Patriots have a pressing need at safety at the moment or likely even in the near future).
I completely forgot that he was on Tampa for a year.He has always been best in man coverage. He had some issues in Tampa when they were using him in zone, which I would think make the transition to safety tougher. He would probably be great against tight ends, like Chung has been used. I doubt he would be interested in a role like that, and he certainly wouldn't be worth anywhere near where he's being paid.
Jet fans - how did Petty look?
According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, Jets coach Todd Bowles is concerned that giving the starting job to quarterback Bryce Petty could prompt the players to “check out.”
They're really old, too. All of their top 12 players in AV in 2015 were at least 26, and seven were in their 30's, including Fitzpatrick, their best receiver (Marshall), 60% of the OL (Ferguson, Mangold, Giacomini), David Harris, and both starting CBs (Revis and Cromartie).Bowles confuses me. Last year he did a very good job in getting the team back on some success. 10-6, acting like professionals for once after the Sexy Rexy circus finally left town, a sensible guy with a good aptitude for football.
So what the hell happened this year? Was last year all about Fitzpatrick and when he stunk this year they had no choice but to suck horribly?
Wait, they're not already checked out?Keep on Jets-ing

This post made me laugh. And cry.Fitz versus the Patriots pass defense is a classic matchup of 'stoppable force vs moveable object.' If the Pats can't get a few interceptions this week, they might never.
Dustin Keller just cried a bit inside."I don't think the Jets have thrown to a Tight End since Kyle Brady was here" John Gruden MNF
How much per INT?Petty gets the final 4 games. That means the Jets paid Fitz more than $1 million per start and more than $4 million per win this year.
Just for kicks I Googled "NFL mock draft 2017" and the first five hits have them taking Peppers, Fournette, Fournette, Peppers, and Peppers at #5 overall. Either a guy with no NFL position or a running back, because, you know, Elliott: sounds about right. So which stud DL will they draft with their top 5 pick this year?
I couldn't stop laughing at that. Others may find it juvenile...but I loved it. Thanks.
