I was really hoping to take this kid in round 5 or later, but with him being tied for the lead at -17 going into Sunday in this weeks tournament I am not taking any chances on missing him. JUSTIN THOMAS

You would have missed him, so good call.

Motherfucker I thought he was going to make it back to me. Almost took him last round too because I think he's gonna have a big year. Dammit.

And I will chime in as another that was wanting M. Hoffman, it was between Thomas and him. Didn't realize people were so high on him, I just wanted both Hoffman's to make remembering who to cheer for easier.

Haha losing out on Hoffmann has sent me into a tailspin. I have no idea which route to go here. Going to make a boom or bust pick that could ruin my team. Here's hoping he's over the injury and he can make an impact on the leaderboards in the big events, most of which he is eligible for at the moment.

Johnmd took him very early in the first round in the first year of the league.

I am really interested to see if Justin Thomas can close out a weekend. Tied with 5 others with 3 holes to go.

and he put it in the water on 16...

Sad face. Still has to be the worst pick ever made, although my Luke Donald pick in the first round wasn't great. But that was at 20. Oooze was at 4.

Sorry for the delay, was out today.  Thanks to TFP for the PM, lord knows when I would have checked in.  Not feeling much that's available and think it's too early for a few guys I'd like to take a flyer on.  I'll go with a steady hand and hope he doesn't end up hurt or play like 14 tournaments or something.

A very interesting pick.  I thought about him a very long time ago, but said no because it is 50/50 he plays in any of our tournaments this year, as he has been ordered home to begin his military service.  If he does it is a great pick,  obviously if he doesn't then you're screwed

Also, the first page is updated with all the picks so far since Zomp has been slacking. Please double check my work though.

Thanks T4P - I was getting a little lost trying to keep up with it on my own.

I also would like to add in a little extra grace period to the 24 hour window, I expect to lose power in this upcoming storm and would do my best to pick via my phone if I had enough battery, but I don't think anyone should get penalized in the next 48 hours if they aren't able to make a pick.

We don't start until the AT&T in mid-February, so there is no time crunch to get this done.

I'd be fine if we wanted to suspend the draft after tonight for a few days on the assumption that at least some of us will be struggling to connect.

Let's keep it going, but agree with not skipping any picks. We're into round 5 and have about 2.5 weeks until the first tourney. We can't afford to stop completely at this pace but don't need to rush it either. Also, beerbelly (and others), feel free to send proxy picks to people now to keep it moving. I'm happy to take them (since I won't be picking for a long time).

I expected more mocking of my Villegas pick.

I had him as someone to consider in round 6, but nothing to mock there.

He's going to play in a lot of tournaments and will make a lot of cuts.  Good value for bottom of the draft.

This draft just seems harder this year, I have only one guy I want in the 5th round right now. The first two years I had a lot more confidence in my late round picks.

There are a lot of guys left I would love to draft, honestly.  I struggled more in the middle this year, although if i had done well in the middle last year (Rory and KJ killed me) I probably could have even survived Rory's epic run

Much better.

I've PM'ed DOTB but if someone wants to text him, that'd be swell.
