DOTB was right yesterday. This course was too easy this week. Six players at -10 or better is not what they're looking for.

Yep that might do it. Insane shot under the circumstances.

Man, if Rory had buried those 2 birdies early in his round he'd be looking at an outside shot. Really picked it up since 7 (first birdie).

The weather made the greens too soft. Really nothing they can do about that.

They could have asked Zomp to bet on nice weather.

I bet if you told Rory on Tuesday that he'd be -11 on 16 on Sunday, he'd have thought he's 3 pars away form the grand slam.

Somewhere the head of the USGA is licking his chops and saying "Not at our tournament ". They may set up the course to where +5 wins, given how easy Augusta has played today.

Funny to see/hear the anxiety coming out of Spieth after one poor shot.

However, what's impressive is how he hasn't let that anxiety creep into his swing or his overall play. Kid is nails.

Get to -20, kid.
Please.

The first segment on Mike and Mike tomorrow will be about how Tiger was in the hunt. The second will be about the implications of the wrist injury on Tiget surpassing Jack's 18. The third segment will be about Jordan Spieth.

I want a hydrogen bomb dropped on the four-letter and their pimps.

He definitely wants the record. He's not playing to cruise into the win.

It's a nice win by a young guy, but that's about it. It's not like Tiger winning this tournament by 12, or Rory winning the U.S. Open by 8. He's the winner when the course was playing its easiest in history.

Nice week for Tiger. He played well enough that if he stays healthy and keeps shaking off the rust he should be a factor in the other major's (St. Andrew's, maybe?). I assume we'll see him next at The Players, I don't think he'll move up far enough in the OWGR to qualify for the match play in 3 weeks.

He's the second youngest winner of all time, he's going to win by 4, go wire to wire for the first time in 39 years, and set the scoring record (maybe). No matter how easy the course is playing (and it is), it's a hell of a lot more than a "nice win by a young guy".

You're out of your mind.  I think your "boredom" with this final round is clouding your vision.

This is a 21 year old kid who manged this course better than anyone I can remember seeing.  And there were A LOT of guys putting up low scores out there, just begging him to crumble under the pressure.  And he held every one of them off, specifically the veteran player that was in his pairing in Justin Rose.

This is one of the best performances I have seen, and I am beyond excited for the rest of Jordan Spieth's career.

Seriously. It is WAY more than just a simple "nice win". It's an incredible, record breaking win by a kid that is 21 years old.

I guess we'll just disagree. Scoring records don't mean much to me when the entire field is eating it up. Courses and conditions change. Justin Rose and Phil are going to have Top 5 scores alltime. He's nowhere close to the record against the field average, winning margin etc. It just doesn't seems comparable to what Rory did at Congressional or what Tiger did.

Tiger says his wrist popped out of joint. Damn.

I wonder if it was a lunate dislocation, a perilunate dislocation, a distal radioulnar subluxation, or if it was nothing at all.

Considering the others are all major injuries…. I'll go with nothing at all...

It's more than a nice win but I agree that it's nothing like those dominant wins.

Thank god Tiger was there to put Tiger's bone back into his arm.
