Season at Augusta runs from October to early May.

Ryder Cup is in September and the course is set up well before that. Can't do that at Augusta National because the grass goes dormant in the Summer.

Plus, I can't imagine the course wants it.

My word. The course definitely doesn't want the Ryder Cup.

Dustin Johnson's drive on 11 may be the farthest one I've ever seen.  He just hit a wedge in...
Yeah that was a 365 yard drive.

You've got it backwards, I think.

I placed two bets today.  One was Jason Day's round over/under.  I took under 70.5 and he's on pace to shoot about 80.

The other is margin of victory over/under.  It was 3.5.  I took the over.  I have no doubt that Spieth will fuck me by winning by 3 thus not making it interesting and not making me any money.

No matter what Tiger does the rest of his career, he's the best golfer in history. Jack was playing against a short field. Tiger was not. And we won, and won, and won.
I guess you could say Ted Williams played against a short field too, but I don't hear many trying to unseat him as the greatest hitter ever. Probably want to curtail this argument though.

That's what you get for being a sinner.

Take it from someone who lived in Augusta last summer... you don't want to be outside doing a physical activity for hours at a time in the heat and humidity of the Augusta summer.  It's very nice this time of year, though.

And he hit a 9 iron into 13.

Since it's turning into a relatively drama-less Masters, maybe we should spark up that Jack vs. Tiger debate?

Short field or not, Jack was playing against some of the greatest all-time players during his time.  Outside of Phil, Ernie, and maybe Vijay, I don't thing Tiger really had a formidable gauntlet of historical greats to slay.  Most guys seemed to shrink when the going got tough, unlike a field with the likes of Arnold Palmer, Lee Trevino, Tom Watson, Gary Player, etc. in Jack's era.  Throw in his dominance in the Majors, and I have to cast my vote for Nicklaus.

Haha, Spieth is going wayyyyy right on 11 from the straw. Making the 12th tee box spectators move. It's a smart play, avoid a meltdown.

To quickly jump in a couple arguments here, Jack over Eldrick as G O A T, he took on all comers Form early 60s to Mid 80s

Dog, big fan of Poulter's clothes, then again Ive got 2pairs of Loudmouth shorts, wore one last bash.

I don't get Nike humping the neon yellow it's been in everything Rory has worn this week

Smart play by Spieth. Leaves a decent shot at escaping with par, bogey being the worst possible outcome. Hero shot there brings the water in play.
