I think the 2 rest days in the group stage may be having a serious effect on quality (and, obviously, indirectly though lineup choices). I can understand why the organizers want soccer every day. But three games in 7 days is too much. Does another tournament do it like that? Copa America only had three groups too, but they made sure each team got three days between two of their games. Especially in the summer in a very large country, it's not appropriate.
