If Virginia gets these three outs, Sborz cannot pitch again tomorrow can he?  I mean, Ravetch et al were saying O'Connor is trying to protect Kirby so it should hold for Sborz too.  Because without him in the back of the bullpen, Virginia is really thin.

What an awesome job by a team that had a ton of injuries and setbacks. We have an outstanding coach.

Since the rise of the program under O'Connor has largely coincided with the recent championships in Boston, I think a lot of my nervous baseball anxiety has transferred from the Red Sox to UVA.  Pacing, muting the TV (eat it, fucking Vandy whistlers), leaving poor DeJesus Built My Hotrod to post alone in this thread.  This one is so cathartic, I don't think I could've have stood a repeat of last year even if the expectations weren't there.  WAHOOWA!

Yeah Coach O'Connor and Coach Bennett are changing the way UVA fans watch our Hoos.  The tides are turning.  3 natty titles this academic year and what 23 total. Here's to hoping our football team turns the corner
