The problem is that play was in a gray area. We all suspect that as Manning was getting up and IF he got nailed, before going into a football act (throwing or running) then the Pitt defender would have been flagged for hitting a downed/defenseless player.

He may have gotten his last free lunch. if he does it again, he's now asking to get nailed.

If I were a Pittsburgh fan, this would be the infuriating part. Sure, he could have been touched down on the hip or something. But it seems like Peyton got some "official" protection: he couldn't be hit, was free to make a play.

If Brady pulled that turtle stunt a time or two, the league would probably change the rule.

thans erik actilly in 2009 i got some brual comments about my writing form cowboy eagles and giants fans i was wishing their teams good luck and some called me a hick etc etc they feit bad for me because they thought denver wouild suck
