Can I ask why you don't use punctuation? Seems like you have something interesting to say but the lack of sentence structure combined with lack of punctuation makes it hard to figure out.

Read his sig.

I read that as an egg assault at first, which seemed much more benign.

Yeah, he's under investigation for a felony here. It's basically assault with intent to murder. There's a pretty good chance there's a weapon involved here.

The shitty part is Kubiak's been away from Denver so long, he probably doesn't remember where the safe houses are.

You're not the only one. I thought the 'a' was just a typo.

So who is going to play OL for this team next year? Maybe we 'll find out tonight. Ramirez isn't anything special but trading him seemed odd when the only other experienced linemen are Clady, Vazquez, and Clark.

Six rounds of the draft to go.  Personally, I like the pick for Denver.

I see other teams add quality players and I have to remind myself that it's the first round of the draft - everyone *should* get someone pretty good who can help them.  Some picks obviously won't work out, but most teams should help themselves in round one.  I think Denver did just that.

I don't mind drafting Ray but they probably could have made the trade without Ramirez. They already lost Franklin and really haven't added anyone to my knowledge. And OL was a big issue entering the offseason.

Yeah, Manning reads blitzes and gets rid of the ball so fast that he can mask a lot of offensive line deficiencies, but even he wasn't helping at times last year, even before he stopped throwing downfield. They need more there.

Bad news for the Broncos.  Shannon Sharpe is calling for the field turf to be suspended for the season.

Broncos rookie tight end Jeff Heuerman will miss the entire season after tearing his ACL at practice today.  Heuerman, a third-round draft pick, was injured while running down the field on a special teams drill at rookie minicamp. He was carted off the field and diagnosed with a torn ACL.

Broncos Pro Bowl LT Ryan Clady tore his left ACL during practice Wednesday and is likely to miss the 2015 season, a league source told ESPN.

Tough break, although frankly he hasn't played well since his first injury a few years ago, anyway.  Before that injury, he was a stud.

Considering how lucky the Broncos were with injuries last year, they are probably due for their share this year.  Of course, the Pats were pretty healthy last year, too.

So it looks like their projected OL is Clark-Garland-Gradkowski-Vazquez-Schofield...not exactly the Hogs.

Peyton is going to get killed.  They were already in deep trouble with OL quality and depth before this injury.  Now this might be worst unit in the entire league.

Key word noted for emphasis. Wait until the next two- or three-dozen linemen get injured before the season starts. The Patriots are only a couple of injuries away from owning that dubious distinction.

I think the Pats could actually weather non-Solder injuries pretty well--their problem from where I sit is that, apart from Vollmer and Solder, the starters aren't particularly good relative to the backups.

Meh, that's kind of a meaningless statement.  Sure, any team could get decimated by injuries and end up with a terrible OL just like any team could lose their starting QB and have a terrible QB situation.  What's important is that the Broncos are already in that spot.

Fwiw, I actually think the Patriots have good OL depth compared to most teams.

Well, this mostly applies to the guard positions, and there are some unknowns there, given the draft. I also think Connolly comes back if there are any issues with the newbies in camp.

I wasn't expecting a deep playoff push from Denver yesterday. I'm expecting it even less now.

The Manning window was sliding closed and the pace picked up a ton with Clady's injury. He wasn't the same after his alias franc injury, but moving back into a Zone Blocking Scheme with Kubiak was supposed to work to his strengths. So much for that!

I do wonder what it would take to trade for one of the veteran Tackles in Cleveland who are reportedly not being resigned after this year.

Between this and their cut blocking history, I'd say they have a real Culture Problem that needs to be addressed.

It is pretty amazing that Bowlen's son was arrested for domestic violence, and the girlfriend claims he was wasted, doing whippets, and threatening to kill someone else he had had an issue with, and it hasn't been a bigger story on ESPN. The owner's son. Imagine. . . . nevermind.

One of my good friends worked for the Patriots for a while and said that Kraft's son David got hammered during training camp in 2002 and flipped a golf cart. That's all I got. David's the bad one, apparently.

Not that it matters, but:

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/25223145/broncos-deny-they-tried-to-trade-peyton-manning-to-houston

The Denver Broncos claim they didn't try to ship Peyton Manning off to Houston this past offseason, despite a report on Tuesday night that suggested otherwise.

Two sources told Benjamin Allbright of 94.1 FM in Denver that the Broncos tried to trade Manning sometime before the Denver quarterback signed his restructured deal with the team on March 4.

With training camp just a week away, the NFL suspensions keep on coming.
Hours after Chiefs cornerback Sean Smith received a three-game banDenver Broncos defensive end Derek Wolfe was hit with a four-game suspension for a violation of the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing drugs, the league announced Friday.
The fourth-year pass rusher will miss Denver's season-opener against the Ravens along with clashes against the ChiefsLions and Vikings.
"During the offseason I took a medication which is on the banned substance list," Wolfe said in the statement released by the team. "The medication is not a substance which would enhance my on-field performance in any way and I genuinely was unaware that it was prohibited, but players are responsible for what is in their bodies.

denver first 2 games means everything    if the o-line can hold up very big if   weeks 3-8 sit up very well   for a fast start       like 6-2 7-1

while i do think denver will fade   i do think they should win the afc west  because  KC 9 road games VS Det in London  SD  no gates first 4 weeks   plus the pendind move to LA will hurt them on the field

The Broncos signed Evan Mathis to a one-year deal.  I don't know how much he has left in the tank (33 turning 34 in November) but he was a great player in the past and has to be better than their other options at guard.

PFT is saying it's a one year deal for only $4M.  That's a steal compared to what some were projecting a few months ago.  He said another team offered him $5.5M but he felt the Broncos gave him a better chance to win a ring.  Wonder if the other team was Miami...they were rumored to have interest.
FWIW, Miami denied this quietly to Armando Salguero (who's usually pretty trustworthy).

Yeah well he was going to get more than that for the Eagles before he asked for more.
Foolish.
He's dropped a notch, there are a few scouts who think he dropped off last year and that's why the Eagles weren't interested in extending or paying up. Obviously the Eagles have something along that view, because as mad as Kelly appears there is usually some plan behind it, but it's pretty clear if you're under contract and whine about it be prepared to leave, so it may not have not been performance related in Philly.
