Dude. It's a tribute. The Reds had hats with horizontal stripes and logos. These are a modern take on those hats. Not even a stretch.

They never wore hats with horizontal stripes.

Any dynasty manger who picked up Keuchel and Kluber based on their 2013 peripherals would be sitting pretty now.

It was. The MLB ballot was weird/inconsistent. IIRC you could vote for Bonds as a Giant/Pirate and the all-time FF, but you couldn't find Clemens anywhere.

IMHO, Clemens would make the Red Sox top four. And despite the childhood hero subjectiveness, he probably has the peripherals/WAR to back it up.

Mother fuck Corsi.

See the Reds mascot?

See his fucking hat?

It's a tribute to 19th century hats worn by the team.

Adam Jones is 8th on all time O's HR list. Does that include the St Louis Browns?

Yeah, actually according to MLB.com he's 9th behind Ripken, Murray, Powell, Brooks, Palmeiro, Brady Anderson (!!!), Ken Williams (did play for Browns), Singleton.

Ignoring steroids (which I personally love doing in all aspects), I think Pedro is still the right call over Clemens. Clemens spending a significant portion of his career with the MFYs and the championships makes it hard to make him a "Franchise Four" for the Sox.

Personally I think they nailed the Red Sox four.

These commercial breaks seem longer than normal (and longer than the clock)

Obviously not the end-all, be-all, but I believe Clemens has Pedro by about 30 WAR in a Sox uniform.

Jones passed the great Harlond Cift of the Browns in HR this year. Man, the Browns were a sorry franchise.

So, in all the real MLB games they have nonsense like dugout interviews and people stopping by the broadcast booth but in an exhibition game, they play it straight. Good plan.

If he were theoretically available, does that get it done? Feels like not enough.

Let's throw in Miley too. I'm sure they'd like him back.

If you only showed up for the advertised game time, 90 minutes before the actual game time, you'd know that quite a few of the players are mic'd up.
