Didn't make it back. They are a 2 and a half person team and the drop off after those 3 is scary. They've lost 3 of their last 4 and have the Dubs on Saturday.
That's the first of home and homes with both GS and the Clippers over the next two weeks, they need to win one or two of those four to stay at #3.

Thunder crapping all over my points and look like champs tonight. Clearly a statement game for them- 'don't forget about us yet.'

OKC out to a 28-16 lead in the first quarter. GSW looking a bit sluggish early

Donovan not calling a timeout when Durant was trapped in the corner is atrocious. You have one job!

GSW may lose this game but Curry's shooting is just unbelievable. I'm genuinely surprised when a pull-up 28 footer doesn't go in. Just incredible.

I don't believe what I'm seeing. This is unlike anything the NBA has ever seen

Curry breaking the all-time record for most threes made in a season, ever, was like a footnote on this game. It just gets more and more surreal.

When Curry bent his ankle in half with 15 points in the third quarter, how many pegged him for 46 points?

Couple of things other than that Curry is amazing and the league hasn't seen anything like him before and we should stop looking for comparisons.

Curry is great, but OKC lost this game in a couple different ways. Their ability to switch on the pick and roll with Curry is excellent. Curry is going to make some LOL threes sometimes and you have to live with that, but there big men in Durant, Ibaka and occasionally Adams are athletic enough and don't hesitate in getting out and challenging Curry, something I always see DeAndre Jordan do. Durant fouling out really hurt them defensively because now Kyle Singler was being switched onto him and while he tried really hard, he isn't the defender that Durant is. Curry is going to get his, but because they have a set-plan of attack on defense, that helped neuter a lot of the passing that GS likes to do and limited them offensively.

The best way to counteract the small-ball Warriors is to crush them on the boards, and OKC was able to do that by out rebounding them by 30. Too bad they wasted that edge by turning the ball over 22 times and shooting 65 percent from the line.

Westbrook was so good in the closing stretches of that game. Once Durant fouled out all they had left on offense was pick and rolls with Russ and it worked really well for the most part. Against a defensive team like GS that is pretty damn impressive.

Donovan blew the game by not calling a timeout when Durant was trapped in the corner. I mean, he was right in front of the OKC bench.

At some point, you have to acknowledge that you are witnessing a truly brilliant, peak-level, performance. This is what is happening with Steph Curry and Golden State. At Peak Curry, there are few defenders/teams who can stop him and those that contain his shooting with double or triple teams risk him throwing a slick pass to one of his other teammates who make them pay. This is the value of the Warriors depth. I don't think KD is in play for Golden State next season but even if he is, it makes no sense if the alternative is a deeper line-up with willing compliments to Curry's shooting, passing and handles.

Oscar woulda blocked that.
With all due respect to Robertson, he should shut the fuck up. Steve Kerr is right. If you dropped Steph Curry into a 60s NBA game, he might not score 40 points in a game but he would flat out destroy the opposition with his handles, passing and driving. With all due respect to LeBron and Durant, he is the best player in basketball right now.

I haven't watched basketball really in years so I have no idea who these guys are. But at 7:05 in the video, at the end of OT, the Thompson free throw, number 9 on OKC blatantly shoves number 23 of Golden State across the lane. The ref is looking right at it. How is that not a flagrant foul on 9 OKC? It's so obvious, how is that not called??

I don't want to go too off topic here, but with respect to Robertson (and Cedric Ceballos of all people), what are they trying to prove by making these comments? Does it somehow make them look better by saying it? I get that there will be comparisons through all eras, but to just diminish something that legitimately hasn't been seen before in this league just reeks of pettiness to me. Robertson just comes off as a bitter old man with some of things he is saying.

It's pretty sad when these old guys come out and make comments that are ridiculous. Seth Curry is doing something that has never been done in the history of the NBA. Why diminish this? It's like someone coming out in 2001 and saying, "Tiger really isn't that good because he doesn't have an Arnold Palmer to his Jack."

I know he just set his career-high in scoring the other night, but let's not act like he's some all-time great. Oscar Robertson could probably still beat him one-on-one.

Sure, whatever you say pal. He broke his own record for 3's with 17% of the season left. He's the reigning MVP and will likely win it again this year. But, sure, Curry isn't an all time great.

This, all day, every day. The brain damage required to back-in-my-day the NBA, of all sports, should get you put in a home with everybody else who can't quite figure out tying their own shoes.

A friend and I were just discussing if he was the second best ever from a nc school. For me Duncan is the only one close. C Paul, Worthy and Dougherty can head up the next group with Vinny del negro and Tom Guggliotta.

Phil - If you have to remind anyone of someone, he wasn't as good. And in this case, it's not even close.

During the month of February, Steph Curry averaged 36.7 points per 34.6 minutes. His FG% was 54.9 and his 3p% was 53.6. He also averaged 7.3 assists. Just to put things in context, the 2015-16 league average 3p% is 35.2 and FG% is 45. There is no "in my day" scenario in which this guy is slowed down by anything other than a straight up, on the court mugging. He is the best shooter the league has ever seen and is peaking right now. There is nothing more to say.
