This is as good of a schedule I could have hoped for. Yeah it's got warts but that goes for everyone.

BTW, I consider a "good" schedule where your team is not obviously getting screwed. I don't see that here.

Very true, but if you have to play there early it's better if it's the 1st week so you'll be as used to the heat as you can. They'll make the Pats wear the dark blue jerseys too.
Moreno could have a big day in week 1 before he gets hurt in week 5

Kinda sucks that NE hosts Cincy on a short week where Cincy is coming off a bye, but other than that not bad.  Was hoping to get KC in Week 2 for the road trip 2-fer with the Sox, but missed it by 2 weeks.

If I'm still living on the west coast in December, I could do that game.

I'm thinking I'll buy tickets right away. If I'm not still living in SoCal then (real possibility) I'll sell them on StubHub or something. Let's miniBash.

Those daytime Thanksgiving games both have the potential to suck again this year.

I had the exact opposite view.  Bears and Lions, ancient rivals? Cowboys and Eagles, two teams that HATE each other, and there's a huge rivalry?  Cmon.  Those will eb fun.

Week 1: at Miami Dolphins - W
Week 2: at Minnesota Vikings - W
Week 3: vs. Oakland Raiders - W
Week 4: at Kansas City Chiefs - Maybe L
Week 5: vs. Cincinnati Bengals - W
Week 6: at Buffalo Bills - W
Week 7: vs. New York Jets - W
Week 8: vs. Chicago Bears - W
Week 9: vs. Denver Broncos - Probably W (since it's at home), but maybe L
Week 10: Bye
Week 11: at Indianapolis Colts - W
Week 12: vs. Detroit Lions - W (but Detroit gives us trouble…glad it's at home)
Week 13: at Green Bay Packers - L
Week 14: at San Diego Chargers - W
Week 15: vs. Miami Dolphins - W
Week 16: at New York Jets - W
Week 17: vs. Buffalo Bills - W

Pre-draft (and utterly meaningless) predictions of mine above:  I have them at probably 13-3 (maybe 14-2), with the #1 seed in the AFC (probably depends on the outcome of the Denver game).

Bottom line:  The Patriots will once again be one of the very best teams in the league and will be one of the handful of teams with a real shot at winning it all.

So how much longer before ESPN and NFL Network release the schedule one game at a time during a two-evening six-hour television event?

Three of four on the road to start the season is perfect?  Miami in the heat, dome in Minnesota, and Monday night at Arrowhead isn't exactly a cakewalk.  Minnesota shouldn't be too much of a problem depending on what their QB situation looks like, but the other two aren't exactly gimmes.
That is not a concern for me in week 1, since everywhere will be in the heat during early September.

For those here who were mentioning the Chargers game, I've gone ahead and created a thread in the bash forum.

With all the schedule contests I thought this was amusing.

@AdamSchefter: Of approximate 30,000 people who tried to predict Rams exact schedule for $100K, nobody came close. 4 people got 4 weeks in a row. That's it
