Fowler and Walker have been phenomenal and don't have as much to show for it as you'd think they deserve. They are DUE a full point this afternoon.

Even a split 2-2 would be ok today, though getting it to even would be fantastic. Can't shit the bed like yesterday afternoon.

I'm a little surprised not seeing Phil and Keegan out there this afternoon.

I think the thinking is (1) who do you sit after this morning, and (2) they profile as awful alternate shot players.

That said, Watson is going with the hot players yet he sat Spieth/Reed after they steamrolled.

Furyk drops a long putt and 20 year old Jordan Spieth drops one, too. Furyk for a huge half and Spieth to go up two.

Kind of picking up a bit. Walker looks shaky physically. Wrist issue looks like.

So if someone wants to PM me their log in for their cable provider so I can stream the coverage at my office, I'd let you sleep with my wife..

A second location.
I was hoping the law of averages would pan out and Fowler/Walker would finally land a full point this afternoon but they've looked real shaky and are trending in the wrong direction.

At this point, I'd be ecstatic for a split this afternoon.

So if there is a US comeback it would be known as the G..... of/at Gleneagles. So far all I have is Glory, which isn't great. If the US lose big I have the Genuflection at Gleneagles, which i don't love much either.

Embarrassing effort from the USA in alternate shot.  Over 8 matches, they get a grand total of 1 point.  I'm sick and tired of our players.  They have no competitive edge or heart to fight back when the going gets tough.  Do they even care about this event?  It's evident that European players have a deep love for it.  Do these guys?  It doesn't show through in their play.

No. Between this and the President's Cup they have one of these things every year. They don't care because it's not special. For the Euros this is a chance to shine on the world stage. For the Americans it's an obligation. You want them to care? Ditch the President's Cup.
