This is on NHL Network too for those of us out of the NESN market.

Thanks! And we get the NESN feed too.  But no Jack.  :smith:

And even worse, no Johnny Rocket.   :smithicide:

It's stupid that that's what gets called. They did the same thing to Chara in retaliation 2 minutes later.

Hats for Bergy. Keep Bergy warm.

Bergeron! Bergeron! Bergeron!

Great passing on the power play, especially a nice feed by Soderberg to Bergy for the goal.

Retaliation always gets called. You're taught that from the Mite level up. Lucic also has a target on his back as a known hothead. He needs to be smarter.

It didn't get called two minutes later (chara head washed a guy down to the ice and got the toe of a stick in the back of his Achilles for his troubles) and it was about the 4th piece of retaliation in that 45 second sequence itself.

I do completely agree with you about the target. But that's about the game being called poorly. Let ticky tack stuff go or don't. Just don't call 1 of 6 or 7 times it happens. Because then it always ends up getting called on the bigger guy while Lucic could get a stick up his ass without getting the call.

Hmm. I'm not a big hoops head but this email I just got from my ticket rep is intriguing...

I hope all is well and you're looking forward to the start of the season! I wanted to reach out to let you know about a special promotion we just started.
Beginning today, if you rent a suite for a Celtics game in October, November, or December, you'll get a complimentary food and beverage package. Celtics suite rentals start at $1,380, accommodate 12 or 18 fans and are available for marquee matchups including Lebron and the Cavaliers, Durant and the Thunder and more.

Wonder if there's a decent home game that doesn't conflict with a road B's game. RMPS has conquered golf, why not basketball?

Well that's perfect, fewer distractions.  The true point of a RMPS get together is to get drunk and ridicule each other in person (as opposed to our usual "get drunk and ridicule one another over the internet"), so anything that takes away from that has to be viewed as a negative.

Any Bruins fans plan on catching the game in Rochester, NY this Wednesday? If so, is there a Bruins bar that's good? I plan on catching the game at Murphy's Law with a friend.
