This is great, thanks. It's amazing how many of these consistently play well at the same course year in and year out . Truly creatures of habit.Vegas Sox Fan said:I thought this might be fun to look at each week. This is a great chart! I think I have six going though. I'm pretty sure I had seven, but think Byrd dropped out which is concerning. He needs to turn it on soon to earn his medical exemption back, or I'm going to be pissed.Vegas Sox Fan said:I thought this might be fun to look at each week. Dave Stapleton said:I like the chart too but isn't the PGA like mutual funds when you talk about most of these guys (i.e., past performance does not predict future results)?
I have my top two guys going. I may have to deal with big time swings this year (no pun intended) since I think I have the "all erratic team". I intentionally picked that way after having bland Webb, Garrigus and Kirk who, at their mediocre best, would hang around until midday Saturday and then settle into the middle of the pack.

I'm going with...Stapleton.

Deathofthebambino said:Right, which is why I wrote "since Tiger." Tiger was winning 3 out of every 8 tournaments as recently as 2013. During his years, and obviously prior, there were plenty of guys like Vijay that won tournaments at roughly that pace during parts of their careers, but since Tiger's demise (which I really consider 2009, notwithstanding the run he had in 2013), I don't think anyone has had a run of 3 out of 8 wins, and certainly not to start a season.
