I'd love to try and win a major in anything.  Dark, light, tornado, outer space.  Just give me a chance.

I think they are over playing this dark thing, I mean I could go outside and putt right now.

I'm not a golfer, can anyone explain why Phil is mad they played? What's it mater?

It just creates a huge clusterfuck on the green, when he was still within striking distance.  I don't blame him, really.

Well in theory it helped Rory finish a couple minutes earlier.  They way Nantz/Faldo are talking, perhaps that makes it even tougher to see.

Kind of a dick move though.

Tournament etiquette. Its the player's call.

Its not that Phil would have said no. He just hated that he was informed rather than asked.

I dont blame him. But I will enjoy his pain anyway.

Fowler seems like he could have the same career arc as Phil

As long as he doesn't start wearing the pants from a mob boss suit, we're all good.

Rickie saying all the right things.
Yeah he was awfully classy and gracious there so soon after not winning. Really hope he breaks through bc he seems like a good kid.

It also could have literally allowed Rory to finish. If he had had to wait, he might have gotten to the point where he said, sorry, it's too dark, I need to come back tomorrow, so he comes back in the morning, cold to play the last hole of a major. Or he tries to play it out and makes a big mistake from the darkness. I think he had every right to be pissed and I would have told them to fuck off, not my fault it rained.

For a sport that prides itself on sportsmanship and even calling penalties on yourself, its interesting some people would try to use the gamesmanship of a weather delay and impending darkness to get some (possible) tiny advantage. Seems a bit contradictory to me.

ha, Rory thanks Phil and Rickie for their sportsmanship and class on letting them play up.  Now Phil will look like a total ass if he pouts about this in his presser.
