Nurkic is who they were projected to take originally. Nice pickup for them, got the guy they wanted and the 19.

For those bummed out at missing out on a "rim protector" in the draft, you'll probably only have to wait a year. Next year's draft class looks loaded with bigs. Jahlil Okafor, Karl Towns, Kris Porzingis, Myles Turner, and Cauley-Stein all look to be lottery type talents. Kentucky is so loaded with bigs though it'll be interesting to see how the battle for minutes plays out.

Still shocked at the logic Cauley-Stein used in staying in school. He'll have more competition for minutes at UK than he would have on some NBA teams.

Maybe he didn't want to take a pay cut. ;)
