The playoffs are on the horizon and I thought I'd start this thread now. UNH, which happens to be my alma mater, is ranked number 1 in all of FCS (number 2 in the coaches poll). I'd love to see them get home field all the way to the championship game in Texas. But, the Maine game on Saturday scares me even though UNH should be a big road favorite. It's a great rivalry and a big revenge game for Maine.

I can't even pretend to know shit about Fordham football but I hope we get a home playoff game that isn't on Thanksgiving weekend this year

A couple of nationally televised games today with big playoff implications. Fordham plays at Army on CBS Sports Network at 12pm.

EDIT: For correcting idiocy.

Sorry, Turr but Fordham falls at Army today. That will hurt their ability to host multiple playoff games and it seems your wish will not come true.

Had an awesome fake punt for a TD and kept the game close but not close enough that I actually watched past halftime

Not that I know how this system works but looks like another year with our only home playoff game being on thanksgiving weekend which is really just stupid if you think about it

Tebucky's son just dropped an easy 3rd down conversion. Fordham settles for FG.

Yeah wait so he goes here? I honestly didn't know that before today

I should add that part of the reason UNH may have a tougher second round game than those ranked lower is because they try to keep the first two rounds regionally based.

Yup, biggest home game of the year and we'll all be gone. It's hard enough getting excited for FCS football, this definitely doesn't help.

I don't expect us to beat UNH but we probably have a better chance than last year when Terence West ran for about 40,000 yards against us

Fordham doubled up Sacred Heart today, 44-22 to advance to the second round where they will face UNH in Durham. A close game at halftime was quickly opened up in the third quarter thanks to a 97-yard completion to Tebucky's kid.

The game will be on ESPN3 on Saturday at 1pm.
