Patriots like their RB to come from a pro-style running system where they are asked to catch, pass protect. White can do those things
 

Was just about to note that all the scouting reports mention he is a very good blocker, and catches the ball well out of the backfield.
Seems like exactly the kind of guy the Patriots like at RB, reliable and versatile.
