2010s All Decade Team

[TFP]

So NBCSN is going to release their First and Second All Decade Team, which I think is really fun to argue about but is ultimately meaningless. That said, here's who I think I would have having done some quick research. Goalies are basically impossible, the 2nd team goalie could be 5 different people. Who you got?

1st Team

Ovechkin - Crosby - Kane
Keith - Karlsson
Price

2nd Team

Hall - McDavid - Kessel
Chara - Doughty
Rask

I have same as yours other than Doughty over Keith and Keith/Subban over Chara (unless you're doing the LD and RD thing), and Bobrovsky over Rask and can go a lot of ways for my 2nd line

But #1 line is on point. I'd also add Backstrom to the HM's

I think I’d have Marchand as my 2nd team LW. I think he’s been better than Hall.

It’s close for me. Hall’s MVP is bigger than anything Marchand has done but Marchand has the greater postseason and all around game. The fact that Marchand has a legit claim is still mind blowing to 2011 TFP.

Also Bergy is my favorite Bruin ever and maybe my favorite athlete ever, but he’s not the 2nd best center of the decade.

I guess they put 3 centers on the 2nd team which is weird, and none of them were McDavid which is weirder. They also left off the only goalie to win an MVP, the only goalie to win 2 Vezinas, and another goalie who went to two Cup finals with incredible performances. The two goalies picked won one Cup and one Vezina between them. Those picks make no sense.
