Feel like this is a switch game, in that they came out with zero energy but will flip a switch and eventually win by double digits.

Grant is costing himself some $$$ with his recent play
I believe you’ve been the one on the main board tamping down peoples expectations on what Grants going to make and you’re 100% right. He’s just not the type of player (awful athleticism, no creation skills) you want to allocate a ton of salary to unless you have a very specific type of team

LOL, compounding a bad call with a stupid tech. Standard fare.

And Scal rightfully calling out the disparate treatment of Tatum vs. Lebron flopping around like a child the other night, and not getting a tech.

forget about LeBron (that was an all time tantrum and almost a one off)…draymond gets away with more multiple times a game

The NBA in a nutshell.

They really had trouble getting to the rim that half - too much settling for 3s.

6-21 from 3
9-19 from 2

TimeLord +2.

I still think the Cs win.

Efficient role player, a really good complimentary piece... But it sounded like he turned down quite a bit. He'll still do OK, but RFA won't help him all that much.

Brad played it well

I recognize him from previous games where he was awful
They need to put these guy's names on their jerseys.. must be nice to be absolutely awful at your job and have zero repercussions night after night.

People here are selling but I will be the MORON and say that Grant Williams still gets paid. The NBA rarely gets discounts unless you are someone like Dennis Schroder or a someone looking for a prove it contract. Of course, if I am wrong, will acknowledge it at the time. But you can call me a moron in advance!

I stink at the prognostication thing, but I’m still on Team GWill Has Extra Value For A PlayOff Contendee Because He Gives You Minutes Bodying Up Elite Bigs. He may not be “worth” a given salary by overall numbers, but he may not be replaceable in that capacity for less money. And the goal is a championship, not maximizing efficient value.

Nah, that's fine, we want him to get paid well (which means he played well) BUT it's really tough being the 4th scoring option waiting for that Corner3.

I think Grant is hoping/expecting 4/$80MM, which will be tricky when averaging 9ppg

Every time the C's get close, the Suns separate again.

I really don’t understand how anyone could watch this team and think wing is the biggest need. Luke Kornet should not be getting consistent minutes on this caliber of team

Yep. Which puts me in a weird hybrid position; I want everyone else to value him in the 9 ppg so that the Celtics have a better chance of reaping that special situation value. :D
