Poor Nolan.  All those years it took him to finally get back into the league and he has to coach this bunch of shitpricks?

I've never understood Claude's obsession with this line in the last minute+ of the game

Fuck, I was thinking the same thing. Seems Looch is always on the ice in a situation like this.

Man does Chad Johnson blow.
I don't usually criticize a goalie for giving up a goal on a breakaway, but he needs to save that. He was way too passive. If he comes out, d'agostini has no room to operate.

Chad Johnson is a bum. I know some people think he's been fine and his numbers look ok but I believe that's more due to the Bruins system. Even if Chara out him in that position by his laziness at the end.

The puck was on edge, all the guy did was muscle it through him. Johnson couldn't stand his ground. Weak effort all around on that last goal. Eriksson is starting to piss me off, he's better than this.

I think that was the downside of the 3 forwards in OT. Normally that would be the other defender covering the forward so Chara played it casually. Kelly didn't get back in time and they got beat

Not only that but d'agostino did not have a good angle to the net (owing to chara'a reach/swipe). Johnson was tethered to the net when he could have come out on his angle

I thought Loui had a fantastic game up until that pass.

He was solid most of it, but there were 2 or 3 big plays he fudged or made poor decisions on that a guy of his caliber should be executing and that had a significant impact on the game.

I don't know, he was pretty awesome. He led all forwards in ice time tonight, and was tied with Chara and Krug for the team lead in shots. Loui, along with Kelly and Soderberg, were cycling and creating offense all night. He made a bad pass in OT, but that line was a threat to score pretty much each time they hopped over the boards.

I guess you could say he blew the Lucic feed in the 2nd, but that was a fantastic save by Enroth, and there really wasn't much Loui could've done. That puck is lying flat and coming at him pretty hard. From right on top of the crease where he was, it is nearly impossible to lift it enough to get it over the leg.

Every game a line is going to make a few mistakes.  On balance, Loui and the 3rd line were terrific.

I read the "9:40am" part as "9:40pm" at first and I was really fucking confused how you managed to quote something posted at 9:58 at 9:40. Like really confused.
