Awesome fucking game. But if tonight is any indication, I'm really concerned with how this team is going to be officiated in the playoffs. Someone please tell me I'm wrong...
You're not wrong. Stripes have already taken a cup from this group.

Hopefully this is a teaching moment. Rare to play so poorly and still get the W. Would love to hear what Montgomery has to say in the locker room.
57.3% xGF 5v5. I wouldn't say they played "poorly." But as @Myt1 pointed out with the Sens last game, they seem to have a bit of trouble with tight-checking teams like the Kraken. Hopefully Orlov and Hathaway can help out in that regard.

I was kinda hoping to see Hathaway come out of the stands to take down Gourde.

They’re going to get the short end of the officiating stick in the playoffs like they do every year they gotta play through it.

They certainly played poorly on the defensive end. Way too many turnovers.

This was such a great game. 11 goals, 11 different scorers. Wow. And Seattle is totally for real as a team. I wonder if Marchand gets suspended?
I am wondering the same thing given his previous slew-foot suspension from late 2021. Might draw some extra scrutiny because Marchand and repeat offender.

I think it’s a lot less likely to lead to a suspension when you’re both wrapped up engaging in extracurricular activity already. Functionally, it’s not a shitload different than the hip fulcrum Chara used to use when slamming people to the ice after fights.

Having said that, the suspension over/under is probably like 7.5 games.

What did you think of climate pledge? I love the place
My complaints are that there are too few bathrooms on the lower level and that the arena noise could be turned down like 25%.
That could be related to the fact that I’m turning 40 on Monday.
Good fans, good decor, good theme though.
That will probably go down as the best sports game I’ve ever attended. Being in the shot lines behind the glass is fun.
