Last time I started a set of game threads it was following @NYCSox and it turned out pretty well. Might as well try it again. Let's see how much the B's like my terrible puns.

Awful opponent tonight following a bad loss. The Bruins' goal differential is down to +1. Time to restock.

Jack:
"Yet another shitty entry from Reilly......."

(Not those exact words, for the not- watching(

Clifton makes a check, no arm up, two guys go after him.

Bruins short handed.

Constant shit like this is why the Bruins reffing is a joke... and why the Bruins are smart to not go "big bad B's"... imagine if they did go out and actually played in the way that they got reffed... they'd go whole games with a revolving door to the penalty box...

That’s not how it works, though. Eventually, the refs stop calling them, or “even them off.”

Where’d he elbow him?

They let Ottawa call the penalty by reacting.
I don't disagree with you that it is bullshit that the penalty only got called after the extra stuff. But Clifton's elbow absolutely came up. It was not a good hit, in my opinion.

I agree that it came up. It just looked like it came up after, rather than hit him in the head with it.

The guy is up immediately, not the least bit shaky. Tough for me to believe that there was material contact to the head. I think Clifton mostly missed him, and it looked worse because of that.

The entertainment factor is mitigated by the atrocious and criminal refs. Its hard to watch and even harder to say anything other than they are either on the take or massively incompetent - in which case they should either be in jail or forced to work at Burger King respectively.

That right there is one of those "ahhh......that's why he scores 40 goals" moments.
