2.13.2013 few small changes

change 1:
All non-lurkers can upload files to posts.  This will help a ton for mobile users who may be using clients such as SoSHApp or the Tapatalk App to include photos in posts.  Everyone's donations, which led to us being able to fire up a new server, led to this feature now being possible to enable.
 
change 2:
stupid one but you can now edit your profiles, or atleast I think that you can.  I didn't test it but noticed the new setting while making the first change and figured that I would turn it on.

BTW - The profile editing looks pretty weak. The only difference I noticed was the ability to set a background photo, which is almost entirely covered by the profile content (Take a look at mine for an example). Not a big deal.

Does editing your profile include changing your email address?  I remember a while back this was an issue but I may want to change my email address in the near future if possible.

If you want to try it I think that you should be ok now.  The old web host had this messed up email thing.  If it doesn't work then just msg me on twitter and i'll fix you back.
 
I'm stuck at home because of the snow, so running an additional backup.  things will be slow for a bit.

I can always change it manually if we have to.  Also, there are some new features which theoretically will start making sure that people have the right emails listed.  Not because I give a crap about people's emails but because I probably spend a few hours a month resetting passwords, etc because the email thing has never worked just right.
