Al has had some pretty bad fouls on 3 point shooters this season.

I’m sorry but a three point shooter isn’t entitled to the space two feet in front of the three point line. That’s just an awful rule.

I'm not sure about this Memphis team. They are getting obliterated on the boards without Adams (and now with JJJ fouled out). Adams is not playable in certain playoff matchups, and JJJ being in foul trouble isn't exactly a rare occurrence.

Fair enough I just don't see it as the problem. I wonder what informs some of these criticisms - how much do these people look at optimal timeout usage given all the data? I know the answer to that btw...

I think a part of it is comparing this approach to basically every other good coach in the league. Maybe he's cracked the code, but seems unlikely?
