I know it's garbage time, but Waters' carelessness on that pass is why he's unplayable.

Honestly pretty impressive that Waters can still squeeze a rec league error into like 90 seconds of play.

This must be Jaylen’s first 10 assist game. The turnovers weren’t great but he had a bunch of shots rim out and looked super comfortable finding the open man off his drive.

30 assists on 39 made field goals. Guys were getting open, the ball was getting to them, and they were knocking them down. They’re not gonna shoot 51.3% from 3 point land every game, but they’ve got guys who can knock down open shots, and Tatum (9 assist) and Jaylen (10 assists) can draw the defense and make the passes to keep the shooting percentage fairly high.

The TOS keep him a notch below Tatum. But considering "novice" "diamond in the rough" were in his draft bio he has been remarkable.

If Kemba can tighten up his passing and keep it simple (i.e. take open threes and clean pull-ups and forget the paint) he can be useful. He only forced the issue like 5 times tonight instead of 10.

Career high was 8. If he and Tatum can regularly distribute, that makes the Cs hard to defend. But I also doubt Semi et al can hit that many shots regularly.

Unlimited work ethic. Until he stops getting better I’m going to assume he will just keep getting better every year.

Did Dirk have similar issues early in career? Genuinely dont know
No but I’m not sure he ever was a high effort guy on the defensive end. Different eras but Rik Smits and Detlef Schrempf (early in his career) are better examples of European bigs who played defense and got called for a lot of fouls.

Missed the game, saw the score, assumed I knew how it went.

Checked the box score and was like WTF.

It was total garbage time, so I'm not reading too much into it, but it was nice to see Nesmith find Tacko twice inside. I'm sure Nesmith was itching to put up a shot or two himself, but each time he made the smarter play.
