Heinen got banged up last night and is a game time decision. Lindholm is going in for Kuraly. Assuming no Heinen, lineup likely looks like this:

Marchand - Bergeron - Pastrnak
DeBrusk - Krejci - Kuhlman
Nordstrom - Coyle - Bjork
Blidh - Lindholm - Wagner

Chara - McAvoy
Krug - Carlo
Grzelyck - Lauzon

I also just noticed DeBrusk is using one of the Bauer Nexus Advantage's with the hole in the blade for aerodynamics.

Between here and everywhere.

It has nothing to do with aerodynamics.

The top half of the blade is stiffer, the bottom half has more flex. Supposed to create a slingshot effect. You tape the stick regularly so the hole is rendered...unholy.

I like Lauzon's play a lot, which means he'll probably be packaged with a pick for Toffoli.

Against a not-so-good team coming off a long layoff, for sure. But that's a complete effort and a well-deserved 4 points in 2 days.

Probably a little of both. They were looking for a bit of a jolt and he’s helped provide it. He’s looked good enough to stay but they have a logjam back there. They are carrying 7 D currently with Miller and Clifton on the way back, something is going to have to give if and when they get back to full health.

I believe based on what happened in the playoffs last year, that we need the ability to drop more size into the lineup for any given series. If he's solid like this, I think you have to consider him for that role.

My wife was out of the room when the puck dropped last night and Jack and Brick commented on Coyle wearing an 'A'.

She comes back in the room and this is the conversation:

Me: Backes wore an 'A'.
Her: [confused look] Yeah, so...
A second later, light dawns
Her: Oh! Who's wearing it now?
Me: Guess.
Her: [thinks for a few seconds] Coyle. He's earned it.

She's a goddamned keeper.
