Every year there are a couple games you just count as outliers and throw away. This game is one of them.

Would love to hear the NHLs take on waving off that icing. Looked like the linesman was on the opposite side, screened by the net, that made the call.

Yes. That was ridiculous, and robbed me of my beloved 3 on 3 OT.

Not sure I agree, but even so. He wasn't the problem. He's a decent #2 goalie.
His sub 900 save% and terrible advanced stats would say otherwise. Look I love the kid. I've known him since he was a teenager. BUT he's a big problem and isn't even average at this point

And the expectation was that he and Ullmark would be able to evenly split the games this season. 10 games in, and Swayman has a GSAA of -2.68, tied for 59th in the league with Brian Elliot.

It’s not a big deal right now, but he’s been leaky when he’s been in there, and it’s a problem for him today, maybe the team in March.
