While waiting for tip-off—If the NBA stole an idea from MLB and allowed nicknames on uniforms what would the Celtics pick?

Baynes, Horford OUT, Big Sleep is away from the team after the birth of his daughter. Theis starting at the 5, Semi and Yabusele destined for minutes.

Brand the Bulls!

Bad Lob #1 of the night. Jayson, just throw the floater at the hoop, and if it goes, it goes, if it doesn't, Theis is there for the board.

Smart starting brings an extra level to the defensive intensity at the start. I like it. Then the Celts have an almost equally talented second unit waiting to come in. This is nice.

Not even sure what to say about this. Combine good defense with the Bulls not being able to hit literally anything, and I guess this is what happens.

Smart's bulldog defense with zero pressure to score a point with the starters.
Then the knockout punch of Hayward, Brown and Rozier waiting to come in.

It took a long time and this is the wrong sport but I guess Boston vs Chicago revenge has been brewing for over 30 years.

Kyrie might want to think about shooting the fucking ball when he is wide open

Last year, I had a lot of moments where I didn't love Morris' game, but man, I love everything about him this year for the most part. Even when he takes a bad shot, they're so few and far between and surrounded by so much good stuff that they're forgivable now.

Terry just has no idea when there's defenders around him. I don't know if our feelings about Terry are based on seeing him immediately after Kyrie every night, or if he's really just an awful point guard. I mean, everyone would look bad when compared to Kyrie, but Terry just puts his head down and goes with no idea how it's going to end.

i know with a 20-point lead it’s hard to pick nits, but the c’s are playing sloppy on the boards and in the half court offense.

Jabari "they don't pay me to play defense" Parker is the gift that keeps on giving, first to Morris, now to Brown.
