NBC doing a fan fest in NYC this week and they probably should have done it in August or May. They’re in a warehouse and it’s bizarre.

Liverpool-Bournemouth kicks off the early game and LFC fields a strong lineup even with Napoli midweek. Milner gets the start at RB

Salah! Easily could have gone down there just outside the box but kept at it and was rewarded

What a player Salah is. I think a lot of players wouldn't have been so patient and clear of mind and blasted a shot a little earlier as the cavalry started to arrive.

I’m on a slight delay this morning but....SALAH!!!

Even Lallana is getting off the bench today, which means things have gone exceedingly well.

Yes, this was a strong line up given the mid-week make or break tilt with Napoli, but 4-0 is great momentum.

Not that he was entirely wrong when he made the comments, but it was nice to see Begović look like a trash keeper today

“They are not doing the basics of defending and I don’t think they have the pride it takes to be a defender,” Begovic said on Sky Sports’ The Debate show.

“It is a combination of things - communication, positioning and the desire to defend is lacking for Liverpool. They don’t look organised, they don’t look like they want to defend.

...

“I think as a unit they look all over the place and there could be many reasons,” Begovic said.

“Confidence is low and there are people making bad decisions so it seems to be a bit of a mess.”

...

“I don’t think it’s one thing, I think it’s them as a unit. I don’t think they’re working together and there’s a lack of continuity with the centre-back pairings and the full-backs, I don’t think changing the goalkeepers is helping.”

.

If they’re to go through against Napoli it will require a confident and productive Salah. Mo got his groove back a bit today.

Maybe not so well for Lallana. Poor bastard.

Brilliant troll move by Jose benching Pogba for a match he knows his team is going to dominate.

Just finished up the Liverpool game on the DVR. Good to see Salah heating up.

He actually turned down the Man of the Match award, saying that James Milner deserved it for playing in his 500th Premier League game today.

Cagliari had 2 guys sent off in stoppage time yet somehow still scored an equalizer against Roma with 9 men.

Clever play by Hazard. He's drawn a few fouls tonight. It's hard to root for Chelsea, but fair play to em so far.

David Luiz heads in from a corner. He got up well to glance it in. 2-0 to Chelsea. City are human.

Chelsea earned the three, rode their luck a bit early but worked very hard and closed spaces well. Was always going to be one of City’s harder tests as Sarri sets up well to give problems but been a poor effort today. Hope the injury bug lets up this is not the time of year for this

Son with a magnificent left foot strike in 46th minute. If I heard correctly, marks the 86th non-scoreless match between Spurs and Leicester.

Are we using this for Superduperclasico (Boca-River) gamethreading? Or is Global Football Odds and Ends better?

As far as I can tell only Telemundo and Fox Sports Deportes.

They take are missing out on an opportunity by not throwing it on Fox Sports 1 or 2 given they're only doing a World Series special and a UFC replay.
Agreed. My gast was flabbered by this. Although it's likely a rights issue if I had to guess, but that stuff can usually be worked out if there is a mutual opportunity to get a better game on a higher profile channel.
