This fucking team man. Is it just me, or does it seem like they build up to a big lead so quietly and quickly it almost defies the laws of space/time?

It's like they are down 3 and kind of trading baskets, and then they're up 1, then 4, then 9, then 19 in the span of about two and a half real time minutes? By the time opponents call a timeout, it's not to stop the bleeding, its to basically start applying a tourniquet to a severed limb.
I get this feeling during close games too. Like, when things are tough and it’s a bit of a rock fight or something, I implicitly assume they’ve fallen behind as I’m not seeing the beautiful fluid offense… and then I check the score and they’re up by two when I thought they were getting beat. Oh.

It's almost as though the Suns were surprised by how good this Celtics team is, as contrasted with, say Miami and Toronto, who were both played styles that at least *could* win the games.

Celtics defense has now slipped into the top 10. And Time Lord is on the way...

Was Blake Griffin known for taking charges during his glory days on the Clippers?

He took 12 charges in 2017-18 (NBA first began keeping track of hustle stats the year before) and then 30 the next year so it's been going on for a while.

It's good that he does get them, because he's otherwise a terrible rim protector. His rebounding, hustle, and general BB acumen have all been excellent though, and he's actually caught the 22-23 Celtics shooting mojo too.
