I get this feeling during close games too. Like, when things are tough and it’s a bit of a rock fight or something, I implicitly assume they’ve fallen behind as I’m not seeing the beautiful fluid offense… and then I check the score and they’re up by two when I thought they were getting beat. Oh.This fucking team man. Is it just me, or does it seem like they build up to a big lead so quietly and quickly it almost defies the laws of space/time?
It's like they are down 3 and kind of trading baskets, and then they're up 1, then 4, then 9, then 19 in the span of about two and a half real time minutes? By the time opponents call a timeout, it's not to stop the bleeding, its to basically start applying a tourniquet to a severed limb.
