Hey. Yeah, I gotta go out of town for a couple days. Can you check on things while I'm gone?

Monty said Smith was going to go in for Greer tonight. No idea on goalie, but would guess Ullmark.

Marchand - Bergeron - DeBrusk
Zacha - Krejci - Pastrnak
Hall - Coyle - Frederic
Foligno - Nosek - Greer

Lindholm - McAvoy
Grzelyck - Carlo
Forbort - Clifton

Ullmark?

The Avs are pretty banged up. MacKinnon got injured on Monday in Philly and is out for a month. Lehkonen got hurt on Saturday in Boston. Nichuskin, Rodriguez and Landeskog were already on the shelf.

I figured this thread may get the most eyes. I just got an email from the Sox for Winter Classic tickets. I took a screen grab of the ticket costs/sections below. Anyone have any interest here that doesn't already have tickets? I have to send in a form with what section and number of tickets I want. Note - there's a $26 fee per ticket not included in the prices per my email.

Any interest, PM me.

Pretty cool for Callahan Burke to debut against the team he grew up watching. Colorado broadcast says Bergy is his favorite player.

I feel like there’s something a little off about the broadcast. The brightness maybe?

and ouch. Nosek took one there

Color is wrong. It’s almost blue shifted. The audio is also a mess. Too much stadium music. The Mario mushroom sound, for example.

Really don't like Jack and Brick talking like it's a 4-0 game. One bounce and it's butt clench time.

This wasn’t a full Avs team but B’s just concluded a 7-game stretch against Tampa, Florida, Carolina, Tampa, Colorado, Vegas, Colorado 5-1-1.

Weird one in the college barn on Friday the. It picks up again at Vegas on Sunday.

Between here and everywhere.
All true - but credit to the Bruins for not playing down to their competition, during an away game, in Denver (which is a notoriously tough environment for out of towners).

They could have easily mailed it in last night, but they didn’t.

Yeah, I felt like they started out slow, but completely dominated the 2nd and 3rd periods. Like, total decimation kind of domination.

Silly, totally inconsequential question. Why wasn't Ullmark credited with an assist on the last goal? He kicked out a shot to DeBrusk, who chipped it up to Hall, who scored. Now... some may say "OGG, he never possessed the puck"- true, but the rule book takes into account "deflections leading to a goal". For instance, if I were setting a screen, and took a slapper to the jimjims, and then a teammate knocked in the loose puck, I would be credited an assist, right? (Maybe that would be a sympathy point....).

Again- in the grand scheme of things it is minor... I just like goalies getting points.

I think you are absolutely correct. It wasn't like DeBrusk had to go retrieve it seconds later from a scrum in some empty corner. While perhaps not intentional, the kick save went practically right to him (not that that matters). You should email Dupont at the Glob. He's a pretty reasonable correspondent.
