Toronto fans and media are the biggest homers in the league---there's plenty in contention there, but imo they are number one.
Huh. So it’s pretty interesting how hard he was sticking up for CJM saying he got screwed and the refs were trying to push a rookie coach around, huh?

Jaylen totally got swallowed last drive, said sorry to Smart, then dished to Smart out of the next drive and was rewarded with a backdoor pass jam.

Someone around here compared Blake to a starting pitcher---useful once every five days---and that seems on the money. Fortunately, tonight is that one good day

Toronto announcers talking about how the numbers are one thing… but the Celtics know when to out the defense “into that next gear.”

Wow. Pop would have to stab someone to get tossed, huh? Nice clip.
I like the clip the most because Derrick White is so prominent in both plays, and of course, Ime is the guy holding him back.

But yes, for Pop to get tossed, he has to completely lose his shit, which he does fairly often. IIRC, he once got two techs 63 seconds into a game. Might have had a dinner reservation.

Pretty damn good quarter. When they take care of the ball, there's no team in the NBA that can trade possessions with them. Certainly not these Raptors. Limit the turnovers and it's no contest.

Even better were the players (Derozan and others) holding back Pop!

I can’t imagine holding Pop back like that. I mean, how awesome would it be to see Pop take a swing at a ref??

People will look up and see 7/17 shooting and 16 points from Jaylen, but he's been fucking fantastic tonight, on both ends of the floor.

He doesn't have his shot going and has turned down multiple shots from deep to go to the rim and kick, as he did on that last possession, which resulted in the 3 from Smart.

Kornet having a solid night. 11 points (5-7 from the floor) and 7 boards in 16 minutes.

No Horford, no Brogdon, no problem (so far). Kornet and Blake have hung in there.

This team can match buckets with anybody now. In the past it was hard to answer runs with their own but now they do it all the time. Impressive.
