There was a time when I sort of didn’t mind Toronto. I liked the fact that they were the lone international outpost, Toronto is a kick-ass city, and the Kawhi team was nasty.

But they are coached by Nick Nurse, who is insufferable, and their mascot, the raptor, is dumb. Isn’t a raptor a bird? What do raptors (or dinosaurs, whatever) have to do with Toronto? Did they secretly get money from the producers of Jurassic Park?

Dumb. Raze the Raptors! Nuke Nick Nurse!

Some of the worst message boarding fans in all of sports. Made me work up a real dislike for the team in the past. I don’t really care about them anymore. Nurse needs a slap but I respect his ability. Their GM is good, too.

How long has Tatum been wearing a brace on his left hand? Tonight is the first time I have noticed it.

How does Tatum get left alone under the rim?

Apart from Nurse, the Raptors are a pretty likable team, now that Lowry is gone.

Celtics struggling to get clean looks. This Toronto defense is good. If they had an offense, they'd be a top team.

It’s been 3 possessions and I already want more Hauser minutes in the rotation. Simple play but he decked the ball and drove to the paint to put the defense in rotation. As a fucking sniper. The dude clearly “gets” the offensive game plan.

Not sure why Mazz isn't using Blake a bit more in games when Al plays. He does a lot of little dirty work that helps, and gives good minutes in small bursts.

I'm guessing it's the obvious thing: I don''t think his knees can take playing very much.

I suppose, but the guy has only played a total of 100 minutes this season (he's only appeared in 8 games). Maybe he can't do it, but if he can, I think 5-7 minutes a night to spell Horford and keep him even more rested wouldn't be terrible. He's really been kind of impressive recently when he has gotten minutes. Seems like when Al plays, he and Kornet are getting very little time.

You could see that Tatum turnover coming a mile away.

What the living hell is Tatum doing? When did he forget how to pass out of a double?

+1 on offensive rebounds, -1 on turnovers. Another 3 quarters like that and they've got a good chance.

I don't understand why they don't fake passes more often, especially when the defender is playing close.
