Despite our collective anxiety, this team is showing an very impressive ability to create separation just about any time they need it. Earlier in the season it was via offense but now they are doing it with D, especially tonight.

This team is a force right now.

Surprised Brooklyn didn't challenge that three-point foul where Brown just got to the line. Looked like they would've had a decent chance of an overturn.

Brooklyn Nets: joyless franchise.

The drab floor at Barclays Center is fitting.

Smart move by Mazzulla to put Claxton on the line. It totally deflated the mentally fragile Nets

Seeing them play this kind of defense was really important tonight—I was beginning to wonder whether the defense we saw in the second half of last season was a fluke.

Kyrie has really fallen off a cliff. I'm not sure he's a top 40 player anymore. He does a few cool drives each game and will go supernova a handful of times during the season, but overall he is a net negative. On a good team he'd be a microwave guy off the bench. He's Reggie Jackson with better endorsements.

It was definitely noteworthy. That said, its nice to see they can dial it up when needed. If they can stay healthy, this team is going to be beast for anyone facing them in a series.

Durant is still elite but he doesn't alter the game like he used to or how a Tatum, Giannis, Luka, and Steph can do. He's on hole 14 of his back 9.

I thought the same thing. I am shocked he is only 30. That said, he still has a lot of mileage and injury history for someone that relies on speed and shiftiness to be an elite nba player If those slip a little and it appears that they may have, his value is no longer elite, it’s more an above average player.

They have played a lot of games in November and now into December. Great for us as fans, but wonder if they felt the grind a little bit today.
