First time in the game thread this year. Has it been noted that Gorman has kind of lost his fastball? I love the guy, thoroughly enjoyed his HOF career, but he is regularly calling people by the wrong name this year, making "old" mistakes, etc.

he was really bad remote. He isn’t back to normal but is better than he was

Yep, it has been noticed. But since Boston types are progressive traditionalists, we take it in stride.

Yeah, for sure. Not as bad as Castiglione, but noticeable. He makes up for it with more funny observations than he used to make. He’s beyond caring.

It's hard to call a game remotely when you've done it for all those years in person, I think. Age is definitely some of it, though.
