Groin for Emre Can?

Wouldn't be a bad match for one of Grujić or Moreno (with Milner to CM) to get a run out

Definitely a penalty, lucky to get away with that one.

It did give us a genuine hold-me-back Jack moment, so I am thankful for that

Was that before or after he kicked a potential pass back directly out when he couldn't decide whether or not to pick it up?

Don't expect a keeper to save a penalty, but Karius goes very early there. Not good against the better takers out there.

Tremendous work from Mane there, snaking through and finding Can. Very good to see Can bury one. He's been wasteful in front of goal this season. Hopefully this builds a bit of confidence.

And as I type this, Mane sits down....Woodburn time?

Edit: Sadly, no. It's only Lallana back from injury.

Bournemouth won't die. I think Ryan Fraser is man of the match even playing less than a half.

Edit: UnFUCKINGbelievable.

I see absolutely nothing to recommend Karius over Mignolet. He's an inferior shot stopper and he isn't as advertised with the ball at his feet.

He couldn't do anything about the penalty, but Migs saves the second and fourth.

Plenty of pace on that shot, but Karius has to smother it or parry it away. Goddamn.

I'm done with Karius.

Klavan is either in the side over Lucas or he should be sold. I'll blame Lovren's failure on not being able to rely on his partner.

Rojo within a few inches of breaking Gana's leg with that two footer. Lucky to only be a yellow.

Meanwhile, Barry should have been carded for his tackle on Ibra

The stadium is a Jeff Fisher excuse. They aren't losing because of it. They are losing because the injury bug hasn't treated them well and Payet and Noble aren't effecting games like last year.
Yeah, the defense has struggled a lot of it driven by injuries. MF is a struggle because Noble isn't playing well, and they need 2 DM/CM to protect the back line and connect with the attacking talent.
